A Little Bit About Me
Like most of you out there I find it difficult to describe myself, however, I'll try my best to paint a picture of who I am:
I don't wear the hijab but I greatly value modesty in all it's forms. There is, I believe a hijab of the mind and character too. I personally feel that these are far more important. However, that's not to say that I don't respect and value the hijab, in fact, I hope one day I have the courage to take it up inshAllah.
I place great value on the quality of the friendships I have with people in my life. Quality over quantity. I always seek that the people I associate with, will have a positive influence on me, and I on them. I desire that the relationships in my life, be it friendship or marriage, bring out the better parts of my character.
Another thing I greatly value, is my family. Like the Sicilians say, nothing comes before sangue.
I have a diverse range of interests which include, but are not limited to: fashion, food, novels, Korean dramas, documentaries and action movies (the usual martial arts ones like Enter the Dragon and Ip Man). I also love Islamic history and art.
Typically I spend weekends either with my family, or dining out with close friends. I do quite like fine dining, and would name this hobby amongst my vices ;) Once a month or so I meet with my book club to discuss a novel or two, and you'll frequently find me in coffee/tea shops just enjoying a good cup of tea and watching the world go by. At times I just like to kick back and watch endless episodes of my favourite dramas.
If I could do one thing, I would be an explorer and time traveller. The first place I would transport myself to would be Renaissance Italy and then to the East during the Islamic golden age. That would be just...incredible.
If there's one thing you need to know about me, it's that I am a principled person who sticks to what I believe is right, and try my best to adhere to the faith. I'm by no means stubborn, but I don't think I have to compromise my character or beliefs to impress those around me.

What I Am Looking For
The quick answer to this is: A gentleman, in the true sense of the word. Well mannered, humble and also charming.
In addition to this, a sincere and God fearing man, who practices his faith. I am in no way perfect, but seek to better myself, and hope my future partner will play a significant part in this. I am seeking a professional individual, someone somewhat similar to myself.
